Three days that started a conversation.
The first Asian Music Industry Festival brought artists and more than 50 industry guests to Boston on November 18–20, 2023. Panels, office hours and a career fair connected music communities across Asia and North America. At the House of Blues, Yichun Shan and a programme of guest and student artists brought those conversations to the stage.
Official citations from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the City of Boston and the Boston City Council marked the festival’s inaugural edition and its contribution to cultural exchange.

The inaugural AMIF’s Networking Reception Gala took place at Harvard’s Loeb House, bringing the festival’s exchange between music, film, academia and Asian communities into a more intimate setting.
Designed by Guy Lowell in the early twentieth century, the house was once home to Harvard presidents. Its grand ballroom, oak floors and decorative mirrors reflect that history. Within the gates of Harvard Yard, close to Widener Library and the Harvard Art Museums, it offered a distinctive backdrop for conversation beyond the stage.
