Alexis Cao

FROM THE FESTIVAL ARCHIVE

From the AMIF 2025 artist profile:

Alexis moves between Boston and Ho Chi Minh City, using her delicate voice to gently unveil the vulnerable side of emotion — a gift to those tired of pretending. Her debut single “Lie Lie Lie”, created in collaboration with Berklee musician Tanny Ng, tells a bold yet bittersweet story that resonates with anyone caught in the haze of an undefined relationship. The song has garnered over 30,000 cross-platform streams since its release.
Following that, she released her first EP “Tough Love & Care”, blending R&B and pop influences. The project has accumulated 45,000 streams and led to a three-show “Tough Love & Care” mini tour across Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi — two of which were sold out.
