FROM THE FESTIVAL ARCHIVE
From the AMIF 2025 artist profile:
She is the first Chinese artist to enter the Billboard Dance/Electronic Top 40 chart in the United States, with her music remaining on the Billboard Dance Chart for ten consecutive weeks and total online streams surpassing 1.2 billion. As the first-season guest performer on the hit variety show Sisters Who Make Waves, her avant-garde and captivating stage performances set off a wave of futuristic aesthetics and trends.
Her artistic achievements have been widely recognized: she won Tencent Music’s “Artist of the Year” award in 2020, the “Cultural Creator of the Year” honor from 25 Hours in 2025, and was named by GQ Global as one of the “Voices of the Future” (No. 21 worldwide)—the only mainland Chinese artist on the list.
In cross-disciplinary work, she serves as a creative consultant for Microsoft Asia’s AI Creation Lab. Her influence extends into fashion and philanthropy; she has appeared in leading magazines such as ELLE and VOGUE, participated by invitation of the British Embassy in the “Environmental Music Copyright International Creative Camp,” and acted as the “Earth Ambassador” for the 50th World Earth Day. She actively advocates for environmental protection and for women’s and children’s rights through charity initiatives.
